Andrea Anders
Anders is a native of Madison, Wisconsin. She was raised in DeForest but is currently at Los Angeles. Her graduation was in 1993 at DeForest Area Highschool located in DeForest Wisconsin. In 1997 she earned her bachelor of Arts at The University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. In 2001 she received her master's in fine arts at Rutgers University. Anders was involved in a romantic relationship with Matt LeBlanc (whom she met on the set of Joey) and her co-star of the show that was cancelled. Sean Anders, director of Sex Drive and Never Been Thawed (anders.com) is her twin brother. Anders started out in theater at the age of 2001. In the Broadway show Proof, she was Mary Louise Parker's understudy. In the following production, The Graduate, Anders played Elaine Robinson. Also, she was as a character in On the Jump at the Arena Stage, New Doors at the Guthrie Theater, and Two New York Stage & Film performances: Cold/Tender and New World Rhapsody. Anders first made an appearance on stage in Fat Pig on the Geffen Playhouse stage. She was the character Jeannie who was an accountant. Fat Pig closed on July 1st, 2007. Anders had her first TV appearance in a Dannon commercial, which ran from the 90s until 2006. Anders was most well-known for her roles in Joey and The Class, where she played Nicole Allen Campbell (the ex-wife of a football player) (and as lawyer Alex Garrett). Anders appeared in each episode of both shows, however neither of them was renewed. Anders appeared in guest roles on One Life to Live (as Donna Degenhart), Law & Order (as Heather), The Guiding Light as well as Tru Calling. She appeared five times in the HBO's Oz drama in 2003. She was Heather Degenhart and Brandy in The Stepford Wives. Anders was also a guest in the show Numb3rs in 2008. Anders has also appeared on two unsuccessful TV pilots. Spellbound and News To Me. Anders has been cast most recently on Better Off Ted. It is an ABC one-camera comedy about workplaces created by Victor Fresco.
