Michele Carey, born Michele Lee Henson, was the child of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr who was a physician in America and Thelma Burnell Henson. Burnell Henson. Her piano skills were exceptional when she was a teen and took home the national prize in the Chicago Music Festival at just thirteen years of age.
