Jennifer Tilly was conceived in Los Angeles on 16 September 1958 under very poor conditions. Her father worked in the automotive industry, whereas her mother taught classes and was a dependable actor. Jennifer was the second child from her extended family. She often accompanied her mother who worked as a teacher at school, to theater performances. Jennifer found her performance amazing. Jennifer's father and mother separated at age five. Jennifer was a part of her youth in British Columbia when her mother relocated there with her four children. Jennifer was, despite having always been an extremely talented child however, she was not the most educated person. As a child Jennifer was frequently targeted by bullies in schools across Canada. When her enthusiasm for theatre began to fade at the age of 16, she began participating in plays together with her mom. The influence of her mother was to motivate all youngsters in her household to have a passion and interest in the art. After that, she immediately began to act.
