Becki Newton

Becki grew up at Guilford, Connecticut. As a teenager and began acting in local productions, including performances for the summer season and in community theater. Then she spent a number of semesters studying European History in the University of Pennsylvania. Becki made the move to NYC shortly after graduating to pursue Broadway. She's been featured in several national commercials, guest starring and recurring roles including Cold Case (2003) and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1998), American Dreams (2002) and got Amanda's part on Ugly Betty (2007). She's got a husband named Chris Diamantopoulos and has a brother named Matt Newton. The beautiful women I see are not necessarily supermodels. Since I don't have the expertise, I leave red-carpet and corporate events to the pros. In terms of my style, I'm no frightened to try the new stuff. The glamour can be enjoyable! It's about preparing yourself for the day. not about being unruly. Self-care is more important. It's not a bad thing to be fussy.
